What we do

We work with the UK's largest food companies to secure policy change for animals

By building strong relationships and collaborating with key decision-makers, we help turn commitments into real change.

Together with other NGOs, we've ensured that 8 out of 10 of the UK’s largest supermarkets have improved the lives of their broiler chickens: a policy shift that affects more than half a billion birds.

Our current focus

We're fighting to end the sale of frankenchickens

Frankenchickens are selectively bred to grow unnaturally fast. This takes a terrible toll on their health and can lead to issues like broken legs and heart attacks. Over 90% of UK chickens raised for meat are frankenchickens.

It's time for companies to finally end this cruel pracitce. Help create this change by signing our petition to end the sale of frankenchickens.

Who are we?

We exist to end animal suffering

We're a non-profit organisation, a member of the Anima International coalition, and are inspired by the principles of Effective Altruism.

Our goal is to save as many animals as we can. In the UK, this means working with major food companies to secure policy change for farmed animals, running tailored public pressure campaigns, and securing legislative change through political lobbying.
